Since being launched in May 2008, Societe Generale’s charity bank card collection has enabled more than one million euros to be donated to the Group’s partner charities. This is a real opportunity to show Societe Generale’s commitment to charity.
Societe Generale was the first bank to launch a charity bank card collection and, today, has the broadest range of this type of product on the market.

The cards that form the charity collection are extremely popular with our customers and enable cardholders to support the causes which are close to their hearts and make a tangible donation to one of Societe Generale's 22 partner charities (including Secours Populaire Français, the French National Lifeboat Association, Perce Neige, ELA, Reporters Without Borders, the French cancer society, etc.).

Every time a payment is made with one of these cards, Societe Generale donates five cents to the charity in question.

In late October 2011, the total amount donated to charity by Societe Generale since the launch of these cards surpassed one million euros.
