NSGB's commitment towards the growth & development of the society is one of our professional commitment pillars. We, NSGB staff, owe this society a lot for supporting us to reach our current status as one of the key players in the Egyptian banking sector. As part of our belonging, we carry out our social responsibility in the same professional way as handling our business.

Our vision regarding the social responsibility, which started several years ago, is based on diversity and positive influence in different social fields; in parallel with the cultural dimension that supports the future. Derived by this vision, NSGB donated several medical equipments to a number of public hospitals to help the poor patients in need of free medical services. Also, in the field of social welfare, we all remember the orphans' day that was organized by the bank for the orphans of Dar El Orman last year during Ramadan in which we draw a smile on the children faces.

As for the cultural dimension, the bank sponsored the halls of jewelries and papyrus in the Grand Egyptian Museum project, ranked as the second largest project in the century according to the "Times Magazine".  In order to preserve the Egyptian heritage, the bank participated in the restoration project of the National Luxor Musuem and the Ramesseum temple in Abo Simbel.

This year, a Charity Team from different divisions was formed to be responsible for organizing all the charity initiatives sponsored by NSGB. We will expand our CSR initiatives to include an orphan's day during next Ramadan, developing one of the poorest villages in the Upper Egypt and finally financing the extension of the Premature Unit in Banha Children Hospital.

I invite all NSGB staff to effectively participate in these charitable initiatives in order to reflect our commitment towards our society. The charity team is eagerly waiting to receive your contributions, ideas and suggestions that will be taken seriously for implementation for the sake of a better society.

It was a Wonderful Night

In Egypt, the Holy month of Ramadan is a great occasion for social communication that's why NSGB organized a full entertainment day for a more than 100 orphans in Wadi Degla Sports Club. The bank Management and staff were present.

The entertainment day included matches in different sports in addition to artistic and cultural contests. The bank staff shared the different contests with children and focused on giving them joy and making them happy. Lovely smiles were drawn on children’s innocent faces and they felt as if they were an integral part of the NSGB family.

This day was organized to support the social correlations and was part of NSGB’s commitment towards its social responsibility. NSGB pays a great attention to the whole society in general, and orphans in particular to meet with these children and contribute to make them happy.

After enjoying a wonderful Ramadan summer night, gifts and toys were distributed amongst the children who were so excited and happy.

The present capacity of the hospital cannot accommodate that number especially for the pediatric intensive care section. NSGB is planning to renovate, extend and equip that section to increase the number of beds from 19 to 35 according to the official medical standards. The staff will participate in the project by doing some of the painting stuff in addition they will visit and present gifts to the patient children in the hospital.
