Chegamos a 3ª edição da Semana da Cidadania. Desta vez, nossa campanha será realizada quase simultaneamente à Copa do Mundo, um evento que mobiliza pessoas do mundo inteiro em prol do esporte por meio da união e do trabalho em equipe.
E como o Brasil é o país do futebol, utilizamos o esporte como pano de fundo desta semana, criando a COPA CIDADÃ. As ações propostas estão alinhadas com a missão do Instituto Société Générale de“valorização e transformação de vidas humanas através da promoção da educação, capacitação profissional, esporte, saúde, preservação do meio ambiente, arte e cultura”, dando oportunidade aos jovens participantes dos projetos de colocarem em prática o que aprenderam, como na ação “Intervalo do Jogo”, ou ainda olhando para o seu futuro, numa proposta de acompanhamento de longo prazo, como na ação “Hora do Treino” que apresenta o conceito do Mentor Social.
A Semana da Cidadania também é uma grande oportunidade de integração, espero que neste ano, ela reúna um número ainda maior de colaboradores em prol dessa iniciativa que é fundamental para o desenvolvimento sustentável da sociedade e do nosso negócio.

We’ve reached the 3rd edition of Citizen Commitment Week. This time, our campaign will be held simultaneously with the World Cup, an event that mobilizes people all over the world to promote sport through unity and teamwork.
And considering that Brazil is a "soccer country", we have used it as a backdrop for this week, creating the "COPA CIDADÃ" ("Citzenship Cup"). Proposed actions are aligned with the mission of Société Générale Institute: "recovery and transformation of lives through the promotion of education, job training, sports, health, environmental preservation, art and culture", either by giving to the youths the opportunity of putting into practice what they’ve learned as project participants, like the action "Intervalo do Jogo" or by looking to their future, in long-term proposal, like in the action "Hora do Treino", that presents the concept of "social mentoring"
The Citizen Commitment Week is a great opportunity of integration too, I hope this year, it meets an even greater number of employees in support of this initiative which is fundamental to the sustainable development of our society and our business.

This Saturday, for the action “playing fair” we went to the NGO Interferência with 40 volunteers in order to paint and finalize refurbishments in their premises. Their space Interferência is located in Favela Santiago and assists 165 children and teenagers at Saturdays. The maintenance started before this Saturday, when infrastructure repairs were done where necessary, Saturday was to have the NGO colorful painted, improving the quality of the space for children use.
All the material used in the NGO Interferência's maintenance was bought with the money got from inscriptions in “Bicycle Goal” action. I took place this Sunday, it was a cold and sunny day in São Paulo and almost 100 participants went sightseeing through old downtown city.
In the afternoon we had presentations of more than 200 youngs from NGOs that are partners of Institute Societe Generale, starting with the musical concerts of Guri Orchestra from Guri Project, and Toca Zezinho from Casa do Zezinho. Ação Comunitaria presented a theatre play written by themselves, participants of project “In preparation to work” finishing with a Capoeira presentation from Gol de Letra participants. During the presentations, we held an educational action with a circuit of sustainability for all the employees and their families in order to promote integration and to increase mobilization; we had more than 70 participants divided in groups that learnt about how to save electricity and water, recycling everything in an amusing way.
